Position Overview:
Renewal Development is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Manager and First Aid Attendant to oversee our construction projects and ensure the safety and well-being of our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and must possess a valid Level 2 First Aid and CPR certification. This dual role requires excellent organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
The successful candidate must be either located on the Sunshine Coast or willing to relocate and live on the Sunshine Coast until October. Accommodation can be provided.
Responsibilities, Construction Site Management:
● Oversee day-to-day operations on the Construction site.
● Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and equipment.
● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
● Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
● Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
● Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
● Maintain detailed records of site activities, progress reports, and any incidents.
Responsibilities, First Aid Attendant Duties:
● Provide immediate first aid treatment to injured or ill workers on site.
● Administer Level 2 First Aid and CPR in accordance with established protocols.
● Maintain a well-stocked and organized first aid kit and ensure all supplies are within their
expiration dates.
● Record and report all first aid treatments and incidents accurately.
● Conduct regular first aid training and safety drills for site personnel.
● Assist in developing and implementing site-specific safety plans and procedures.
● Support the overall health and safety program of the Construction site.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
● Valid Level 2 First Aid and CPR certification.
● Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Relevant certifications or degrees in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand, walk, and navigate a Construction site for extended periods.
● Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
● Manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform first aid tasks.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 per year 40 hrs / week
$50 / mo internet and cell phone allowance
