EMJC Earthmoving & Plant Hire has been operating since 2008, providing earthmoving, plant hire, heavy haulage and maintenance solutions for the mining, civil and construction industry.
With branches located in Perth, Newman and an onsite team in Collie, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project-Site Manager to oversee our Collie mine site operations.
This role is preferably residential working Monday – Friday based in Collie, WA.
Managing a team of approximately 30 staff across numerous work fronts, this role is responsible for overseeing all site functions as well as being the company’s lead representative on-site.
The role:
- Collaborate with the client for work opportunities and assist with scope of works, methodology and tendering.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure milestones and project KPI’s are achieved.
- Coordinate resource allocation, including personnel and equipment to optimise project efficiency.
- Manage on-site safety, quality and environmental matters and ensure compliance.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation to clients and senior management as required.
You must have:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- Strong knowledge of methodologies, techniques and industry standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of contract management
