Qualifications & experience
- Welding & Fabrication experience with relevant trade qualifications
- Experience with online portals such as work buddy, simpro or workflow max to manage scheduling & time keeping.
- Able to work in a trade environment
- Management / supervisory experience in a trade setting
- Able to use Microsoft office, Cad viewing software and a general good skill with computers is expected and necessary.
- Familiarity with pipe work & structural steel is essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Scheduling / Managing of day to day work of a team of welding / fitting tradespeople either on site or at the workshop.
- Estimating & quoting jobs from building / engineering drawings as required.
- Assisting Payroll staff with timekeeping reports
- Invoicing clients and providing comprehensive breakdown reports as necessary
