AddressWe are seeking applications from experienced Site Managers who have proven experience working on High End, architecturally designed residential construction projects.
We are a long-standing business with our projects mostly located in the Eastern Suburbs and lower North Shore. THE ROLE:
- Liaise with subcontractors, the architect and other key external consultants.
- Work with the internal estimating team to ensure materials and orders are correct and available.
- Depending on the size of your project and your capabilities, you may manage multiple builds at any one time.
- Monitoring all trade works, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Site safety management.
- Internal and external set out detailing as required.
- Other various duties as directed.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience managing architecturally designed residential projects from start to finish.
- You will have a trade background with a keen eye for detail and have an ability to produce very high quality work.
- Ability to push a team and adhere to programme.
- You will have experience taking full WH&S responsibility on site.
- Direction and management of subcontractors and labourers.
- Ability to read & interpret construction plans and prioritise tasks.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with trades, architects & clients.
- Proficient computer skills.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Demonstrated experience within High End Residential site management role(s).
- Carpenter by trade preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of NSW residential building codes and guidelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Ability to drive projects to meet deadlines on time and on budget.
- Experience in detail-orientated bespoke projects.
- Be available to start in 3-4 weeks.
