To support our continued growth, we are searching for an experienced Site Manager to join our Site Services Department. This full-time position will be based out of Perth working a 5/2-4/3 roster on our client located in the Pilbara.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Regional Manager, we are looking for a conscientious individual with excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across various workflows. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop a contingent of highly skilled and energetic Superintendents, Supervisors and Technical Leads. Your responsibilities will include being a visible and influential leader, working in partnership with our clientele to optimize the planning and execution of work, as well as organizing the effective execution of maintenance and improvement work conducted on fixed plant assets throughout the site.

You Will Be Responsible for The Following:
- Provide overall management and support to a cohort of Superintendents and Supervisors accountable for the execution of precision mechanical work (previously "upgrade, overhaul and/or technical project work") conducted predominantly during fixed plant shutdowns.
- Assist in the development and roll-out of operational improvement and value delivery strategies to ensure services rendered continue to be delivered to the highest level of safety and quality.
- Maintain keen awareness of future work demand and scope requirement. Collaborate pre-emptively with peers and stakeholders to optimize planning and resource allocation conducted to enhance executional performance.
- Oversee and ensure management of all site-based assets (changed from "pre & post works") is conducted effectively and efficiently across each work scope.
- Develop strong and trusted business relationships with client contacts. Understanding each clientu0027s specific requirements to ensure services are tailored to maximize the value delivery on each client site.
- Coach, mentor, and develop members of the site leadership team. Maintaining highly professional, friendly, and approachable standards spanning all teams.
- Relevant Trade and/or Engineering background
- Influential senior leader experience overseeing the execution of shutdowns (previously "upgrade, overhaul, and/or technical project work") on fixed plant assets in the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of HSE best practice and compliance
- Strong commercial abilities with effective influencing skills, and positive stakeholder engagement
- Solid computer and systems skills and knowledge
- Exposure to shutdown planning and work management practices highly desirable (emphasizing specific experience in this area)
- Established ability to build strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholder groups including clients, suppliers, and communities.
