The Role
As a direct report to the Area Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to actively assist in the safe and efficient achievement of our daily production goals, all while upholding our company's core values, adhering to relevant legislation, and following stringent HSEQ procedures. With a strong emphasis on continual improvement, this role will see you actively contributing to outcomes that enhance both the site's operations and the broader Dyno Nobel enterprise.
- Lead on-site leadership role empowering teams for success
- Responsibilities include scheduling, training, recruitment, and performance management
- Oversee site performance, recommend efficiency enhancements, and optimize resource utilization
- Commitment to meeting customer needs while aligning with company policies and contractual agreements
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the mining sector
- Tailor solutions to meet unique client needs, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership
What you’ll bring
In accordance with on-site safety regulations, it is required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance.
- You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
- Demonstrated strong operational experience within the explosives/mining industry
- Drill and blast techniques and methodologies - Investigations & 5Y’s investigation
- Experience in bulk truck delivery and on bench blasting operations & legislative requirements
- Dangerous Goods Security Card & National Police Clearance
- HR & Dangerous Goods Driving License – preferable
