Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our team and play a vital role in overseeing our projects across the Sydney region. Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, the Site Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects, upholding our commitment to excellence and safety. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic and innovative construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery.
- Providing guidance and support to construction teams to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, safety records, and materials inventory.
- Enforce compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or inquiries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, with a preferred background in the hospitality sector
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coordinate construction teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and project specifications.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid construction induction card (White Card) and relevant certifications/licenses.
- Proficiency in computer software (MS Office, project management tools) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
