Overview/Key Role Purpose
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead the team and the business operations in a hands-on and present manner. Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless production planning, scheduling, and workflow management. Your commitment to safety, quality, and team performance will be instrumental in driving their success.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading day-to-day operations with a focus on maximizing efficiency and performance of the facility.
- Nurturing and empowering a medium-sized production team, fostering a culture of productivity, quality, and positivity through effective, hands-on leadership and mentorship.
- Forging strong partnerships with stakeholders across departments, collaborating to achieve shared objectives and meet delivery expectations.
- Manage operations outputs and performance indicators to achieve daily production outcomes.
Ideally, you'll have at least 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings. Your ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence is key, along with experience in Lean manufacturing or similar continuous improvement approaches. We highly value leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, as well as adaptability and a results-driven mindset. Exposure to a Powder Coating operation would be most advantageous but not required. Most importantly, we're seeking someone who can foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
