The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an Operations Integration Manager for a permanent position performing business management activities in support of numerous BDA Operations functions. As a key member of the BDA Operations team, the ideal person will develop an integrated approach for problem solving according to best practice and apply across the Operations teams numerous complex requirements. The role will require the experience and the ability to develop and execute projects and plans that are consistent with Operations strategic priorities. They will also need the ability to generate strong and trusted relationships across the business in order to be able to provide integrated functional solutions to program issues.
The successful candidate is required to have significant knowledge and understanding of how the business and organization operates, knowledge of policies and an ability to understand the big picture and inter-relationships across the business. The Operations Integration Manager will work as a conduit between the Operations team, bringing together the teams activities through a single point of contact, reporting to the Director Operations.
Responsibilities
* Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals within the Operations Team.
* Proactively identify and develop improvement initiatives to improve how the Operations Team delivers integrated solutions.
* Understand and monitor changes to Operations Team requirements and develop and execute changes across the business, on time and on budget.
* Build trust with stakeholders and develop and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of Operations goals.
* Understand and use technology to effectively support Operations activities
Key Qualifications and Skills
* Hold qualifications in business administration, management or have equivalent management experience;
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and achieve change through collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to provide broad direction to multi-disciplinary teams working on high profile projects to deliver business outcomes within defined time-frames
* Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
* Be an advocate for diversity and inclusion and will be actively involved in change.
