Job description

We are searching for a qualified Site Quality Director for the Train Manufacturing Industry.

Must have manufacturing experience to apply.

About the Role: As the Site Quality Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing processes. You will lead a talented team, implementing robust quality management systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality strategies and processes to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and procurement teams to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Champion quality awareness and best practices throughout the organization, promoting a proactive approach to quality assurance.
  • Analyse quality metrics and performance indicators to track progress and drive data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior quality management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the transportation sector.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
