Key responsibilities:
- Analyse operating systems and application metrics to enhance performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve services via robust testing and release processes.
- Contribute to system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
- Establish sustainable systems and services through automation.
- Optimise system performance to meet customer needs and drive innovation.
- Provide operational support and engineering for distributed software applications.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- High level of understanding of automation toolsets such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Intermediate level of understanding of VMware, Windows Server, SQL Server and IaaS based cloud services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Agile and DevOps mindsets on infrastructure projects.
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
