AddressOne of our enterprise clients is looking for an Engineer with strong experience in Site Reliability and Observability here in Melbourne. This role will be an initial 6 month contract, working in a hybrid workplace on implementing Observability across Azure and Kubernetes environments.
Skills & Experience:
- A wealth of experience in implementing observability tools and frameworks across both Azure and Kubernetes environments.
- The ability to create compelling visualisation on relevant systems data with dashboarding technologies such as Grafana and Kibana.
- Strong experience with configuring observability platforms like Dynatrace, Lightstep, New Relic, Honeycomb or Datadog.
- Working knowledge of Open Telemetry traces and metrics.
- Experience with using DORA metrics to drive improvement across the business
- Azure, and Cloud hosted workloads (Azure Function, App Service, other PAAS technologies like Azure SQL, Storage and Cosmos)
- Kubernetes (Ideally AKS)
- CI: (Azure DevOps, Github Actions, Team City) CD: Octopus Deploy
- Terraform
- Dynatrace, ELK, Grafana, Jaeger, Kiali, Prometheus
