Site Services Technician

UGL Utilities are looking for Site Services Personnel to join the Hunter Power Project team.

Reporting to the Stores & Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the site in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

About the role

·         Checks/prestart inspections on generators and lighting towers

·         Topping up small plant with oil and coolant etc.

·         General repairs i.e. replacing door closers and door latches/locks, small plumbing repairs (toilet cisterns and flushing mechanisms)

·         Cleaning/replacing air conditioning filters

·         General maintenance of ice machines and hydration hubs (filter changes etc.)

·         Airport runs and order collections from local suppliers

·         Taking vehicles to be washed and detailing interior of vehicles on site

·         Cleaning and maintenance of solar panels on lighting towers

·         Refueling of light vehicles and small plant

·         Other adhoc tasks as required

About You

• Previous Site Services experience
• Trade certificate is an advantage but not essential
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential
• Capable of working to defined plans/schedules to complete assigned work
• Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment
