Site Supervisor - Commercial Flooring

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor, to join this rapidly growing business with a strong pipeline of current and future works.

Our Client, based in Adelaide, is an industry leader in the Commercial Flooring space. They supply and install flooring solutions for a variety of commercial projects.
Over the last 10 years they have enjoyed year on year growth and have developed a fantastic reputation not only for delivering quality projects, but also as a great place to work.
They are now looking to hire an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team. This role offers an exciting and diverse mix of tasks overseeing commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have an Australian commercial construction industry background and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Take charge of project sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Contractor Coordination: Organise and oversee subcontractors/installers ensuring efficient workflow, ordering and delivering materials and timely completion of tasks.
• On-site Work: Lead by example by being hands-on when necessary, with experience in flooring installations, reading and interpreting plans and construction techniques advantageous
• Client Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients and building managers, addressing any concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related challenges effectively, keeping projects on track and within budget.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager, Business Manager and Project Coordinators to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of Commercial Flooring installation operations desirable, but not essential
• Experience: Proven experience in site supervision within the Australian commercial construction industry.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
• Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Problem-solving: Demonstrated ability to anticipate and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
• Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and site conditions.
• White Card
• Current Police Clearance (or able to obtain one)
• Confident computer skills (various software package and MS Office)
• Current clean Driver’s licence
