About the Role: As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee contractors and assessment teams for a River Murray Flood Clean-up Program, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project timelines.
This position requires a background in construction or engineering, ideally suited for someone with experience in managing projects of a similar nature. Potential for flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and supervise contractors and assessment teams on-site for demolitions and hazard reduction work. Supervise contractors in asbestos removal.
Liaise with property owners to ensure effective project coordination. Support the coordination of field operations involving multiple stakeholders including our agency, contractors, property owners, and government entities. Validate operational information provided by contractors.
Conduct pre-start meetings and ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines. Collaborate closely with Health, Safety, and Environment Officers. Report on the progress and completion of project works.
Required Qualifications and Skills: Driver's license and construction induction card. Building work supervisor's registration. First aid certificate.
Police check clearance. Additional Details: Temporary contract with an immediate start. Part-time availability considered.
