AddressLAKA Group is an Adelaide based civil construction company specialising in civil infrastructure works to a wide range of State and Federal bodies, statutory authorities, local governments and private developers in the areas of bulk earthworks, wetlands, road works, subdivision construction, demolition, industrial and commercial building site preparation and pipeline reticulation works.

Our projects are based all around suburban and metropolitan Adelaide, including the Adelaide Hills with some remote and regional work available.
What you will be responsible for:
- Oversee and manage the construction process, including coordinating and directing workers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assisting our Project and Construction Managers; ensuring the project is carried out on budget, meeting quality standards and in a timely manner
- Ensure safety regulations and building codes and conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or violations.
- Manage and resolve conflicts between parties involved in the project.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, costs and quality control measures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.
- Identify and address any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
- Supervise all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications and permits.
- Manage the allocation of resources; including labour, materials and equipment.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Must be experienced in civil construction and earthworks (minimum 5 years exp).
- Experience with subdivisions.
- Experienced as a team leader with site operations.
- Ability to liaise effectively with employees from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Good communication and people skills to enable communication with employees, client / architect/s, subcontractors, project manager, etc.

- Must be able to take charge of a situation and make a decision.
- A trade background is desirable.
- Must have be competent in plan reading.
- Strong organisational skills and documentation recording abilities.
- Plant Operator tickets.
- Current first aid certificate.
- White card (essential).
- Certificate IV/Diploma in Civil Construction supervision (desirable).
- Full working rights in Australia.
