The Role
We have a Site Supervisor position available in Melbourne CBD working across 08:00 – 17:00. We are seeking a dynamic, reliable, and experienced individuals to fill the esteemed position of Corporate Security Officer at our renowned organization for our newest Client. As a Corporate Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of security, protecting our client’s company and its assets, while ensuring a safe and secure environment for our teams and visitors. The Tasks
- Maintain a visible and vigilant presence, acting as the first point of contact for all dignitaries, employees and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols and security checks of the premises, including entries, exits, and critical areas, to deter potential breaches of security.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, access control systems, and other security equipment to detect and respond promptly to any suspicious activity or safety concerns.
- Exercise excellent judgment in handling security incidents, assessing risks, and implementing appropriate measures to restore and enhance security.
- Assist with the development and implementation of security protocols, emergency preparedness plans, and policies to improve the overall security posture of the organization.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, documenting findings, and recommending measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and visitors on security-related matters, promoting a culture of awareness and proactive engagement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in corporate security, ensuring continued professional growth and contributing to the evolution of our security strategies.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate security, preferably in high-profile or iconic settings.
- Deep knowledge of security systems, practices, and emerging trends.
- Proven ability to handle security incidents and emergencies with composure and professionalism.
- Excellent observation skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and respond in rapidly changing situations.
- Possess or willing to obtain RSA Certification.
