Form of workPHE Power and Infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our Queensland team on a fixed-term project basis with the opportunity to go full-time if willing to relocate to Brisbane after project completion. We encourage candidates from the Darling Downs and Western Downs regions including Chinchilla, Dalby, Toowoomba, Roma and surrounding areas to apply.
The role will be working on a 2&1 roster with 11-hour days.
- Lead a team to deliver safe, productive and quality electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial settings.
- Report project status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality when required.
- Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology.
- Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities.
- Oversee PHE apprentices and ensure they are consistently learning and improving their standard of work.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
- Experienced leading a team made up of leading hands, electricians, other trades, apprentices and non-trades people on industrial sites.
- Must be able to lead a team that maintains an excellent attitude to safety through leading by example.
- The ability to lead a highly productive team to meet project and company objectives.
- Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain long-term client relationships.
- Enjoy problem-solving.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams and Excel.
- Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
- Previous experience in job estimating and quoting.
- Quality Management experience.
- Budget management experience.
- Flexible and open to working away from home, as required by the company.
LICENCES:
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
- NSW Electrical Licence
- High risk work licence with WP Class
- Working at Heights certificate within the past 2 years
- LVR/CPR certificate within the past 12 months
- White Construction Card
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
