We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading construction company in Sydney known for delivering luxury high end residential and commercial projects. Established with a focus on exceeding high standards and delivering high quality projects.
As a Site Manager you will serve as a central point of contact for all site operations, including overseeing the day-to-day management of construction sites ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and adhering to the highest standard. Coordination and building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers is essential.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, conducting regular site inspections, and implementing quality control measures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Take ownership of on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain quality standards and adhere to project specifications
- Oversee effective planning of procurement of site materials and supplies i.e., reinforcement, concrete etc.
- Manage on-site team members and act as a mentor and motivate them, as required
- Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and consultants, to achieve project objectives.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and key performance indicators to the project management team.
- Resolves any issues in a timely matter related to site resources including labour, machinery, materials, sub-contractors etc
- Enforce company policies and procedures to uphold a safe working environment for all involved
- One Saturday on, one Saturday off working roster
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Site Management role within the Construction Industry – on Commercial/Residential projects
- Preferably, a tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related field
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Construction methodologies, materials and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track and ability to motivate and lead teams
- Proven track record and capabilities to deliver projects on-time within budget
- Valid Construction White Card and relevant certifications and licences
