The opportunity:
As Home Site Supervisor, your purpose is to provide supervision to Support Workers located within the accommodation service and provide direct hands-on support to people.
This opportunity may require you to work weekends and occasional overnight shifts. You will be supporting 3 clients with differing support needs, from low to medium behavioural and physical support requirements.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the financial performance of the Home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget
- Ensuring team member awareness of each individual requirements
- Providing support that aligned to the person’s plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided
- Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes
- Includes both supervisory and administration tasks as well as supporting people with a disability.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures
- Experience in the Disability sector (Desired but not necessary)
- Experience managing a team
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach
- Availability to work some weekends and overnights where required
