About the role;
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to manage the residential building works and facilities across at our NEW Paynesville Resort development.
This is a full-time position Monday to Friday, for the length of the development. As the Site Supervisor you will report to the construction manager and you will be responsible for ensuring time, quality and budget constraints are met. You will manage contractors, liaise with the office in regard to ordering & pricing, co-ordinate settlements with sales, and ensure site safety is maintained.
The successful applicant will have sound knowledge of Commercial and Volume Residential Construction, having a carpentry qualification background will be highly regarded for this position.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Will be responsible for overseeing the day-day operations of the construction site;
- Will ensure that the project will be completed on time and within budget and in compliance with the building codes and safety regulations;
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the construction contractors and all other personnel involved on site;
- Being responsible for monitoring the progress of the build, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards;
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of the project progress , including work schedules and forecasting;
- Having excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role;
- Experienced in using On Site Companion or other Building Programs is considered an advantage.
Ideally you will have:-
- Relevant construction experience and knowledge, preferably 5-10 years proven experience;
- Volume home building experience is essential;
- A strong understanding of building code and local council requirements;
- Ability to coordinate multiple resources and manage a large volume of homes under construction;
- Ability to understand and communicate site plans and specifications;
- Good understanding of OH&S requirements;
- Ability to manage and motivate others;
- Good organisational and time management skills;
- Experience in Onsite Companion software;
- A white card;
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Previous experience with a volume builder would be looked upon favorably.
