Site Supervisor/Carpenter

We are looking for a unique passionate and driven individual to become a part of our team.

Looking for a self-motivated qualified carpenter/site supervisor who can work independently and can think for themselves. Career progression driven with the option of becoming a site foreman who have good knowledge and experience looking to join our growing team.

This role is a key position in the business and requires someone with passion, determination and a proactive nature to produce efficient and accurate work on a day-to-day basis.

The role is fast paced, multi-faceted and will see candidates over a diverse range of construction methods and products. You will be heavily dealing with our client base and required to build strong relationships to cater to our clients and projects needs.

To be considered for this position you must possess the following attributes:-

Responsibilities include:

• Knowledge in all aspects of carpentry
• Interpreting drawings and plans
• The ability to present the site adequately with relevant Work Health & Safety requirements
• Review of the project and schedule deliverables, including organising of materials/equipment
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance, such as quality, safety and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate and direct workers and subcontractors
• Review the work progress on a daily basis and report to clientele as required 
• Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Completing safety documents such as risk assessments, SWMS etc. and ensure they are followed on site
• Maintain relationships with clients during project by facilitating strong communication channels 

The successful candidate will have:

• White card
• Must be a qualified carpenter
• Trade qualifications and/or relevant Tertiary qualifications required
• 2+ years of working experience as a Qualified carpenter/Site supervisor
• Ability to Interpret drawings and plans 
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong communication/presentation skills
