- ABOUT THE ROLE -

We are looking for someone who is hard working, dedicated and ready to step up to any challenge that may arise. This role carries great responsibilities to co-ordinate and manage all aspects within the construction side of the business. If you are looking for a relaxed 9-5 job, then this is not for you.

As Site Supervisor, key responsibilities will include;

• Maintaining communication between clients, trades, designers, project administrator and directors
• Understanding the importance of maintaining friendly and constructive relationships with all involved in the projects at hand
• On site management
• Ensuring construction meets set schedule
• Ensuring project expense remain within budgets
• Subcontractors - setting expectations and monitoring performance of sub-contractors
• Suppliers - organising deliveries of suppliers
• Building and developing sub-contractor relationships
• Quality control
• Identifying issues and reporting
• Defects / quality control
• Ensuring all permit conditions are met
• Act as a conduit between sites and office
• Coordinate and induct site crew, tradesmen and subcontractors on site

- WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR -

Someone who ensures that all tasks are completed at a high standard. Someone who has an eye for detail and a great work ethic. The ability to focus on multiple job sites at one time. In addition, the right person would have the following:

• Competent letter writing, communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• 5+ years experience in a construction role. Carpentry background preferred, however, not essential.
• Reasonable knowledge of building industry contracts and construction administration practices
• Competent skills in Microsoft Office software (word, excel etc.) and Microsoft Project
• Efficient time management and organisational skills
• Well presented
• Valid drivers’ license
• Proactive, self-motivated
• Driven for challenges and success
