Site Supervisor - Townsville

Wilson Security is seeking a corporate career orientated Security Supervisor to manage the day to day security operations of James Cook University

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Townsville,Queensland.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires an individual that is dedicated to excellence and strive to achieve the highest standard of security and safety. Providing Superior customer service and compliance is a vital part of this role including maintaining key stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

· Lead and develop a team of Security Officers

· Manage and oversee all security operations for the site

· Train security officers on site procedures and protocols.

· Ensure that all security measures are properly implemented and followed by all officers.

· Respond to any security incidents and manage emergency situations.

· Maintain accurate records of security operations and report any incidents to management.

· Collaborate with site management and other departments to address security issues and concerns.

· Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that security standards are being met.

· Monitor and control access to sites, ensuring that only authorised personnel are allowed entry.

To be considered for this position, you will have:

· Worked in a security aligned business, or similar.

· Preferably 3 years' experience or more in a supervisory capacity.

· Possess a current QLD Security Industry Licence and First Aid Certificate.

· Experienced leadership and management skills.

· Decisive decision maker in high-pressure situations.

· Works independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent time management skills meeting deadlines.

· Must have full working rights
