SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Confidence in IT skills
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferable
- Knowledge of Best Practice software is preferable
- Being punctual and reliable is very important in this role
- Flexibility regarding working hours
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong time-management, multi-tasking and organisation skills to work in a fast-paced, busy practice
- Skills in answering telephone calls in a courteous manner, booking appointments, service to customers
- Professional, well-presented and pleasant
ABOUT US:
Our practice is a well established, accredited clinic and we work in a warm and supportive environment. Our friendly team includes two GP doctors, a practice nurse as well as other receptionists.
Our clinic is located in the heart of Wallsend with easy and accessible resources around us including cafes, a shopping mall nearby, a pharmacy next door, pathology clinics in front and plenty of parking at the back car park. Complementary on-site and secure parking will be available to you at all times for free and right at the doors of our clinic.
Our practice working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am- 6:00pm and we do not work on weekends.
JOB DETAILS:
Job Type: Casual ~ 3 days/ week (27 hrs/week)
Excellent renumeration, flexible and negotiable working hours, no weekend work and family-friendly working hours in a pleasant and supportive environment will be available to you.
