About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation, which focuses on excellent patient care and first-class service delivery. As the Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Surgical Services Deputy Director of Nursing (DDoN). In this role, you will be working business hours Monday to Friday with some out-of-hours work required for minuting meetings. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and monitoring the Deputy Director of Nursing's diary and inbox, screening telephone enquiries, reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and tracking the progress of matters with deadlines or closing dates.
- Prepare reports and documents as well as draft complex correspondence on behalf of the service/unit.
- Entering daily roster changes, entering base rosters, and triaging incoming communications.
- Triaging incoming communications.
- The recruitment process for positions that directly report to the DDoN.
- Obtain quotes for goods and enter them into our procurement system.
- Provide secretarial support to meetings and committees.
- Assist with the preparation and management of time-critical communications and responses to internal and external stakeholders as directed.

About you:
- Health Administration and Executive Assistant experience is preferred however not essential.
