Based in Katanning, WA our client is one of Australia’s leading fully integrated lamb meat processing business.
They are looking for a number of skilled, qualified, and experienced Meat Workers on full time basis.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Excellent knife skills and maintenance of personal equipment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in meat processing as a Skilled Meat worker
- Attention to detail
- Excellent reliability, attendance and timekeeping at work
- Good communication and positive teamwork
- Sound problem solving capabilities, including reporting malfunctioning of equipment, or workplace health and safety issues
- Ability to manage priorities to meet production schedules
- Ability to work within a cold storage environment and with raw meat products
- Sound understanding of Australian meat industry
- AQF Certificate III in Meat Processing (in Boning Room or Slaughtering streams) or equivalent or relevant MINTRAC Overseas Assessment
- Fully vaccinated for Q Fever (or be willing to undergo the Q Fever vaccination process)
- Must complete a Pre-employment medical functional drug and alcohol test
Remuneration
This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience but it would be within a salary range of between $50,000 - $60,000 per annum + superannuation.
