About the role
We are seeking agile, dynamic and disciplined professionals to join our team as a Small Business Coach to create meaningful economic and social change in people’s lives. The Many Rivers MED program supports individuals to start, stay and thrive in micro-business, providing intensive support to clients, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to start and sustain a Small Business.
What success looks like:
Business Coaching: Capacity and drive to help as many clients as possible in your region to start and sustain their business idea.
Mentoring and Coaching: Self-starter with a proven history of helping people achieve success.
Stakeholder Management:. An existing group of connections in your area is desirable and the skill to foster collaborations and relationships.
New Business Generation: Skilled at sourcing potential new clients that meet the requirements of our program.
Utilising Technology and Data: Experience and a desire to leverage Many Rivers data to understand and manage your own performance with the support of your Regional Manager.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- Aligned to our Mission and a commitment to serve people without regard to ethnicity, gender or religious affiliation.
- A strong understanding and experience in running a Small Business, including business finances and business planning (previous experience running your own business).
- Experience working with clients who require support and understanding.
- Fast learner, team player, excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional time management with a disciplined approach to achieving targets.
- A high level of integrity, trust, respect, resilience and be accountable for your working responsibilities.
- Desirable Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or relevant field
