As part of our Integrated Supply Chain Transformation Program we have a newly created opportunity for a Smart Factory Lead.
As our Smart Factory Lead, you will be responsible for driving transformative projects across our Australian factory network.
You will play a pivotal role in spearheading the integration of cutting-edge technologies and automation processes within our manufacturing environment. This leadership position demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Industry 4.0 principles and the ability to drive transformative change.
You will be responsible for championing the development and implementation of Smart Factory initiatives, optimizing efficiency, and for ensuring seamless integration of advanced technologies across our manufacturing operations.
What is the Integrated Supply Chain Transformation Program?
Our ambition is to become a truly Digital business, obsessed with focus, execution and winning. To do this, we are driving a significant Supply Chain Digital Transformation, building strong data and digital foundations to power advanced analytics, robotics and automation that transforms how we PLAN, MAKE and DELIVER across our ANZ supply chain.
The Smart Factories program will transform how we MAKE product in ANZ. It is a wide ranging program to build strong manufacturing data foundations and leverage these to optimise our factory operations now and in the future
What would be your key responsibilities?
Lead and manage Smart Factory projects, ensuring successful implementation and integration across both Wodonga and Bathurst facilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Work closely with the Site Digital Team to align Smart Factory initiatives with broader digital transformation goals.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations through digital solutions.
Interact with personnel at all levels across the site to understand their needs, challenges, and perspectives on process improvements.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, encouraging open communication and feedback.
Champion a culture of change and innovation within the factory environment.
Implement effective change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to new technologies and processes.
Bring an extraordinary drive and passion for change, actively seeking and implementing new technologies to revolutionize the factory's operations and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology (or other relevant discipline)
3-5 years of manufacturing (operational or engineering preferred) experience, preferably in the FMCG or Food industry.
Strong understanding of digital technologies, data analytics, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
Experience in Project Management.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and a data-driven decision-making approach.
