Join the Civmec Team Join our dynamic team as a SMP Superintendent and be part of our growing division in the Pilbara region! This will be based on a 2:1 FIFO roster. The Role You will be: Overseeing and managing mechanical, piping and structural scopes of work Ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, clients and teams. Overseeing the SMP activities of the main Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor across both greenfield and brownfield scopes and minor works contractors on owner managed scopes. Fostering strong relationships with teams and the client Liaison with heavy lift and heavy haul contractors and managing the receipt and handover of owner supplied equipment to the EPC contractor. Monitor and review risk register development and implementation of mitigating actions. About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following: Hold a recognised Australian Mechanical Trade Qualification, or equivalent. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to oversee & motivate a diverse team to achieve project objectives & deliverables. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think outside the box. Experienced in risk management processes including facilitation of construction risk assessment workshops. Proven knowledge and experience in project planning and resource management. Proficient knowledge in MS Office Suite.
