SEQUAL is a values-driven, not-for-profit, company limited by guarantee that was formed in May of 1999 which provides Disability Support services to our community and we support people with disabilities in a range of settings and support types.

Our frontline team provides direct support in both SIL, in home and community access settings to our participants ensuring high degree of quality and individualised support is provided to them.
The role
We are currently seeking Support Workers in Brisbane North and Moreton Bay to providing everyday and individualised support to SEQUAL participants to live their best life and achieve their goals. In this role you may support our participants in different settings such as in home, community and supported independent living (SIL). In this role you will provide support either independently or as part of a team in:
- Daily living activities in line with the participants personal plans using a person centred approach.
- Providing full range of domestic assistance duties including but not limited to food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and general household chores.
- Providing the full range of personal care assistance duties including but not limited to positioning and transferring, operating a hoist, showering and toileting, dressing, feeding.
- Providing required community access, transportation, attending appointments and day to day errands.
Ensuring a high quality, safe and professional service is provided to our participants in conjunction with our Mission Vision and Values, policies and procedures and the NDIS code of conduct.
Role Requirements
- Ideally a Certificate III in a related subject (e.g. Community services, individual Support, Disability, aged care, individual care)
- Similar industry experience required
- Availability for morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts (applicants must be available for a variety of all shift types)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current paid NDIS worker screening card & working with children card.
- Current driver licence, suitable car and comprehensive car insurance as employees may be required to transport clients in their own car.
- Rights to work in Australia
- Covid Vaccination (desirable)
- Passion to provide personalised and inclusive support and empower individuals with complex disabilities.
