Empatcare is NDIS Registered Service Provider based in Brisbane. Our services include In-Home Support, Community Access, Short-Term Accommodation, MTA, SIL/Independent Living Options. Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Individual Support, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors. Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plan specific to the individuals with disabilities.
- Holds a current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Must hold valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and NDIS Workers Screener Check (Yellow Card).
- Possesses Australian Driver's license and Car Comprehensive Insurance Certificate.
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate.
- Resume and Cover letter.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Providing personal care to individual with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation grooming.
- Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
- Assisting individuals in accessing community and participating in social activities.
- Documenting and reporting on the progress and challenges of the individuals you support.
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.
- Empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives.
