Social Media & Communications Officer
Part-time (15 hours per week, flexible over 3 days)
40 school weeks plus 2 weeks non-term time
St Mark’s Lutheran School was established in 1982 by the St Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mount Barker to provide quality Christian education to our community. From small beginnings we have grown to a current enrolment of over 340 students, with two classes in each year level. We are grounded in the gospel and community minded.
We are seeking a creative thinker with a love of authentic communication, across our community platforms.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong knowledge of the Adobe suite, Meta and WordPress.
You will have experience and confidence behind the camera, capturing the life of our school, including at on-site School events, for uploading to our Social Media platforms and e-newsletter.
You will assist in shaping our annual marketing strategic plan, working alongside our School leadership team and external marketing agency.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check, Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect and adhere to the School's Child Protection Policy.
