About the role
As the Social Media & Marketing Assistant you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling content, optimising company pages, and nurturing online community engagement. Reporting to the Marketing & Events Lead, you will be executing Social Media content across various channels and assisting the team with marketing events and projects.
Key responsibilities
- Analysing social data for quarterly and campaign reporting.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to gather content that aligns with our Social Media strategy.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that aligns with our workplace values, missions and goals.
- Establish and enhance company pages on all platforms to boost social content visibility.
- Manage community interactions across all Social Media channels, ensuring all messages and comments are responded to in a timely manner.
- Assist with the development of Social Media calendars.
- Support the marketing team with projects and events.
- Continuously improve performance by capturing and analysing relevant social data/metrics, insights and industry best practices.
About You
- Degree or Certificate in Marketing/Communications or similar.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency editing photo and video content.
- Knowledge of Social Media analytics tools and online marketing
- Positive attitude and high attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and work autonomously.
- Experience in a similar role (desirable but not necessary)
