Calling all thrill seekers and Social Media wizards! News Perform is on the lookout for an extraordinary Social Media Officer to join our unstoppable team on a contract basis. In this role you will:
- Executing the Social Media strategy for the various News Perform channels
- Ownership of the community and moderation on all social platforms
- Implementing best practice standards to maximise referral traffic from newsperform.com website, including the ideation and creation of engaging, original social content
- Working with content teams to publish across newsperform.com in the publication of relevant, shareable and high-quality content
- Working with key video personnel to distribute and develop engaging, relevant social video across News Perform social channels
- Increasing the footprint of our content to maximise audience reach and engagement
Who you are
- Demonstrated experience in producing social content for a media brand
- Creation of social video content and formats
- Ability to use and understand Canva and Capcut or similar
- An understanding of the news and lifestyle category from a Social Media perspective
- Understanding of news and current affairs content creation and trends
- Ability to use data and insights to create content
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
