Social Media Strategist And Content Creator

The Opportunity

We’re searching for a superstar to join our vibrant broadcast team in North Sydney to grow our Social Media channels and increase engagement.

The Candidate
You’ll be experienced in drawing up Social Media strategies that have had proven success. You’ll be adept at creating short form video content for Social Media which is engaging and shareable, and have professional level audio, video and lighting knowledge with technical competence.

Responsibilities
 Create, define and execute a Social Media strategy for Momentum Media’s podcasts
 Create and publish assets for Social Media to promote our podcasts, to grow, retain and entertain audiences, and maximise engagement on YouTube, FB, Instagram, TikTok andother platforms
 Record podcasts, shoot video content and livestream events from our North Sydney studios and externally at events.
 Provide out of hours AV Support at our onsite events to capture content – offering an opportunity to travel across Australia

Specifically, you will be able to demonstrate; 
 Experience in producing and publishing of engaging Social Media content
 Social strategies which encapsulate a range of content and skills across different platforms
 Professional-level audio recording and editing skills
 Ability to effectively prioritise workloads
 Proactive attitude to maintaining own quality of work

Experience and Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field, or sufficient experience in lieu of degree
 3 years of experience in audio and video production, editing and promoting video content

 Proven track record of delivering Social Media strategies, growing communities and engagement organically, and creating content for Social Media.
 Experience in equipment operation in a live production environment in studios and onsite at events
 Have a solid understanding of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
 Strong video editing skills for full length video (YouTube) and shorter social content clips
 Experience in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite
 Strong communication and time management skills
