Located at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, the clinic is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 73 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.You can read more about the WREN here: https://www.ramsayhealth.com.au/News/General-News/Revolutionizing-mental-health-care-Wren-set-to-open-its-doorsAbout the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in an innovative program that aligns with the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.In this role you will working within a multi-disciplinary team including consumer and carer peer workers, medical, mental health nursing and allied health. Your role will include providing mental health support to women including assessment and intervention planning. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Collaborating with Consumers, families/carers/supporters and the multidisciplinary team to provide care that supports woman's mental health and wellbeing and promotes recovery.
- Fostering a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting dignity and respect for all women.
- Offering education and support to Woman and their families/carers/supporters, empowering them to actively participate in the care process.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for registration with AASW
- Minimum two (2) years postgraduate experience in mental health
- Postgraduate Qualifications Mental Health (highly regarded)
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed approaches and best practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment.
- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
