Griffith Base Hospital is a 120-bed facility with 100 hospital care beds and 14 maternity beds including Special Care Nursery. Each year we support approximately 25,000 emergency presentations, 2,500 operations and more than 600 births. We provide a 24 hour Emergency Department (ED) with 15 ED spaces supported by an Intensive Care Unit and telehealth facilities in ED, ICU, paediatrics to connect the team in Griffith with specialists across NSW Health.

About the Role
The Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing quality services to patients/ clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District to meet their health and wellbeing needs
The Level 3 Social Worker has
- recognised high level clinical skills enabling them to work across a range of clinical areas within their discipline and can perform novel, complex and critical clinical services to patients, families and carers with a high level of professional knowledge
- operates autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision and has a consultative role within their area of speciality
- has an operational/supervisory role within the team, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting on clinical services and are involved in the implementation of MLHD protocols, initiatives, policies and procedures.
