About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in understanding and analysing business processes, translating them into software requirements, and ensuring the delivery of software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Essential Skills:
- Five or more years of experience in analysis and systems development solutions for ERP systems.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the software development industry.
- Experience in solution designing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
- Problem solver with strong attention to detail and highly organised.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications.
- Proven ability to work well with developers, project management & testing team.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Strong experience in customer focused retail experiences.
- High proficiency in technical writing.
- Deep understanding of SDLC
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and development teams to define business requirements and objectives.
- Evaluate, analyse, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of status reports to all appropriate parties.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of requirements, use cases, and system designs.
- Conduct analytics on deployed assigned projects to reflect & maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners & customers for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
- Create BRD, SD, Functional Specifications, Test Plans and Statements of Work.
- Provide application and feature training to both our staff and our customers, with a vision to facilitate effective business change management.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the software development life cycle.
