Be instrumental in the design and build of innovative Patient and Clinician facing applications that contribute enhanced health outcomes for the community. You will be utilising the latest Microsoft technology stack (.NET 8, C#, Blazor), deploying to and managing new and existing applications in Azure, with a heavy continuous delivery and automation focus. Working in a small but very successful DevOps/Agile team, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise in areas such as Data Engineering, Integration and Analytics. Having recently built and delivered a new suite of vital applications (Virtual Emergency Care Service, Mental Health Journeyboard, Patient Connect) with more public facing, high profile projects in the pipeline, we are excited to welcome a new team member on a permanent basis.
Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience and sound working knowledge of software development and support using at least one of the following languages / tools: Microsoft .Net, Microsoft® SQL Server, Microsoft Office365® Power Platform, Integration Platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) concepts, standard and procedures required for the development and support of information systems.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain development deliverables and services in business term and establish and cultivate productive working relationships with confident consultation, negotiation and facilitation skills at all levels within a complex digital project delivery environment.
- Proven proficiency to critically analyse requirements of software applications and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to support the implementation of continuous process improvement activities within Digital Metro North.
