Salary Range: $90,200 - $98,600 plus 11% super
From July 2024: $93,000 - $102,000 plus 11.5% super
New Industrial Agreement 2024, increases scheduled for July 2025 and July 2026

What You Will Be Working On
As a Software Developer, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation and efficiency within our organisation, stepping into an exciting, recently created role that marks a significant milestone in our digital journey. You'll have the opportunity to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the software solutions we already have, playing a pivotal role in their optimisation and enhancement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and analysing business needs to deliver technical solutions and system enhancements.
- Designing, building, and testing optimal solutions to meet requirements and drive business benefits.
- Maintaining high-quality software solutions, adhering to coding standards, and providing responsive support to resolve incidents and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive digital initiatives and ensure organisational readiness for change.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience in software development.
- Demonstrated experience in software development and testing frameworks, methodologies, and procedures such as ITIL.
- Proficiency in various languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript/Node.js, T-SQL, Python, and HTML.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The drive to work independently and collaboratively to deliver projects on time and within robust frameworks.
