Software Engineer

Opportunity to be part of a small team building an application that will be used by customers all over the world. Brand new Tech Stack with the latest and a Great team kicking goals.

Working predominantly on the Backend, this role will has you work as a Mid/Senior Developer across a Node.js (Nest.js), Typescript, React stack with AWS and GCP. This role is to be part of an exciting team, an opportunity to help with some big decisions across projects and working for a great, family friendly organization!

It's a re-build on a new product using all of the latest technology. Great time to join and get your hands dirty whilst building out the next phase of their products.

Our client is looking for your input, be responsible for the design, development working alongside other Developers in a small team based in Melbourne.

The company is kicking goals in their industry and this new piece of software will make them top choice for their customers. Interesting work and a long list of product development is on the cards.

Required Experience

• 4+ year’s experience as a Backend Developer (NodeJS).
• 2+ year’s experience working with Agile or similar development methodologies.
• Strong experience in working with TYPESCRIPT & Node.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL, mySQL designing and building enterprise applications will be highly regarded.
• Experience in working with cloud technologies: AWS (Others accepted)
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their coding and really wants to make a difference in helping to shape this product that is already very successful in the market. Client is Melbourne based (Eastern suburbs) and the role will be hybrid - 1-2 days in the office.Salary: dependent on experience - between $120,000 - $135,000 base + Super.
