About the role
The role of the Software Engineer KYC (Know Your Customer) exists to deliver outstanding business results by developing functional and appealing interactions to drive great user experiences of customer-centric solutions. The Software Engineer KYC is responsible for building technical solutions based on industry best practice and principles.
The Software Engineer KYC is ultimately accountable for code quality, solution output, software, and platform engineering output. They provide systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and ongoing support for KYC applications through guidance and mentoring engineers.
What you'll do
- Design, development and implementation of guidelines and frameworks for engineering best practices across KYC platform
- Provide technical guidance in designing and implementing automation, CI/CD, config management and monitoring practices in teams working on KYC assets
- Provide support for requirements such as high availability, disaster recovery, security compliance
- Representing the KYC team in Enterprise Architectural forums to contribute to roadmaps & strategy
- Contribute to development and maintenance of KYC applications
What you'll bring
- 5+ years Software Engineering experience with at least 2+ years of technical leadership
- Deep experience with programming and scripting languages such as; Java, Micro Services (APIs), JavaScript, Python, Groovy & React
- Extensive knowledge with SpringBoot, Spring Security and Spring Hibernate
- Experience in testing frameworks such as; WireMock, Stubby, REST Assured, Jest, Selenium
- Proven Testing skills and ATDD or Behavioural Driven Development.
- Experience supporting high availability production systems
