In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on industrial PC software development, focusing on Motion Control functions, and contribute to groundbreaking projects in the field.
This role is only open for Melbourne based candidates or those who are willing to relocate to Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions for Motion Control systems.
- Apply your expertise in mathematics, kinematics, and Motion Control algorithms to optimize performance and accuracy.
- Architect, implement, and maintain software systems with a focus on robustness and scalability.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with Motion Control hardware components.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software solutions.
- Solid understanding of mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations.
- Proficiency in kinematics and Motion Control principles.
- Experience with C++ is preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates with strong mathematical backgrounds and minimal software development experience are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with software systems and architecture concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
