As a Software Engineer, you will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle:
Development and Testing:
- Design, code, test, and install applications, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Provide estimates for routine tasks and troubleshoot defects.
- Build unit tests to maintain code quality.
Product Knowledge and Communication:
- Understand user requirements and product functionalities.
- Develop expertise in relevant application modules.
- Document systems and programs for effective communication.
Team Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights for a high-performing environment.
- Foster strong working relationships and communication across the business.
- Contribute to improving project methodologies, processes, and tools.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Uphold ethical standards when handling company assets.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate?
- 2+ years of experience in Programming and Applications Design, coupled with tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Developed skills in one or more of the major programming languages relevant to the role: Java, SQL, XML
- Understanding of architecture and design standards
- Demonstrated skills in personal work organisation and time management.
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience in an Agile environment and the ability to learn, change and adapt is desirable.
