How you can help make a better world of work

We’re seeking a Software Engineer with an experience or an interest in Go and how APIs and Gateways work.

Day to day, you will work with the team on key features within an distributed architecture, ensuring architectural, testing and coding practices meet the shared standards and patterns. You will foster the culture and collaboration within your team, as well as shaping the work to create opportunities for ownership and growth for engineers in your team.

You will be working in the Platform Web and API Gateways team where we are providing Culture Amp engineers with a seamless, secure, and scalable API management, optimising request handling, enhancing product integration within a unified platform, with enabling robust monitoring and ease of use.

As part of this team of amazing humans, 

You will do:

  • Build end-to-end features in collaboration with the engineers on your team
  • Build products and services that support internal engineering teams
  • Participate in team rituals, cultivating and growing the engineering culture, productivity and quality
  • Craft durable, well-tested code with an unwavering commitment to product quality
  • Re-architect legacy code and prep it to scale for the future of the product and the team

You will have 

  • 3-4 years experience working on complex systems and delivering quality software
  • Curiosity, creativity, persistence and a desire to get things done
  • A commitment to growing together (yourself, your teammates, your software)
  • A track record of healthy collaboration with product managers, engineers, and engineering managers
