Job Description
You’ll be joining a close and dynamic Agile squad that’s all about pushing the boundaries of our award-winning in-house Editorial CMS, INK. Picture a small team of tech enthusiasts, always working together to learn new skills, overcome challenges, and constantly seek opportunities to improve our apps using the latest tech trends.
One of our cutting-edge projects is the next generation of the authoring experience for our CMS. This new app, a first-of-its-kind to our knowledge, is being developed using a Node.js application. It leverages the powerful Block Editor features of WordPress but with a modern twist—instead of using the WordPress backend, we are saving content directly into our microservices. This is just one of the many exciting projects we’re working on!
Our main playground is web-based, especially with ReactJS, but we also delve into exciting areas like Headless WordPress, AWS, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture APIs with Go (Golang). It’s a fantastic place to sharpen your skills and explore new tech adventures. Get ready to be part of a vibrant team that’s passionate about what they do and has a great time doing it!
You’re confident using ReactJS and are excited by the thought of deep diving into React and web development. You enjoy being challenged and take delight in overcoming technical obstacles, and your passion for quality engineering drives you to continually improve your craft and learn new and effective ways of doing things.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated commercial experience working with ReactJS
- Solid knowledge of Javascript (ES6) or TypeScript
- Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks and libraries such as React Testing Library, Jest & PlayWright
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- A self-starting, inquisitive nature
- A continuous improvement mindset
- A strong focus on quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Is not afraid of digging into the code of open-source projects and libraries.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience in PHP, WordPress & Gutenberg (Block Editor)
- Experience building and deploying solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience building APIs using microservice architecture
