Software Engineer

We are looking for 2 x developers for an immediate start. 

NSW Government Client is looking for aSoftware Engineer.

The contractor will perform several key functions which include:

• Designing, developing & supporting cloud applications, services, and products. This might include back-end, front-end, web application, full-stack, data and application integration, and cloud application deployment.
• Adopt and demonstrate DevOps practices, automated moving code from development to production while automating tasks such as monitoring, testing, integration, and deployment.
• Collaborates with team members to design and deliver well engineered technical solutions to support business requirements.
• Support projects and BAU activities as required.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Participating in Software Engineering team focused on developing or updating software to meet BAU & where required Project deliverables.
• Providing ongoing production support to existing platforms
• Within a team environment, critiquing software solution designs with a focus on usability, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Capability in documenting and building integration solutions and capture of services using performance indicators. Integration and Data development (Talend, Azure Data Factory).

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of development experience in the financial services sector
• Demonstrated experience in Azure development.
• Proven experience with C# and .Net technologies
• Blazor Front end development an advantage
• Azure Certification

Other information:

• The role is a 6-8 month contract with a possible further 6-month extension.
• Our client offers a flexible working environment with a mandatory 3 days in the office.
