Digital Biz Solutions Pty Ltd are looking for Software Tester to work on some major client projects in Australia. The position will be full time. 

Job Description : 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating software applications and systems to ensure they function properly and meet the client's requirements. The Software Tester will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create and execute test plans, and identify and report bugs and performance issues. 

Responsibilities : 

• Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to understand project requirements. 
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications. 
• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications. 
• Identify and report defects, providing detailed information for developers to reproduce and resolve issues. 
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing and continuous integration. 
• Utilize automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. 
• Conduct performance testing to identify and address software performance bottlenecks. 
• Collaborate with the development team to optimize code and improve system performance. 
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of test results, test case execution, and defects. 
• Provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders on testing progress and outcomes. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and ensure software quality. 
• Participate in project meetings to provide testing insights and recommendations. 
• Specifies, develops and writes test plans and test scripts, produces test cases, carries out regression testing, and uses automated test software applications to test the behaviour, functionality and integrity of computer software, and documents the results of tests in defect reports and related documentation. It excludes testing of technical security controls. 

Required Candidate Profile : 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role. 
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. 
• Experience with manual testing, automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit), and performance testing. 
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation. 
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

       Salary - $100K and above
