Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Solar Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy and possess exceptional communication and sales skills. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for educating potential customers on the benefits of solar energy, assessing their energy needs, and guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to installation.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Conduct in-home or virtual consultations to assess customers' energy needs and provide customized solar solutions.
- Educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy.
- Prepare and present proposals tailored to each customer's unique requirements.
- Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with our installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Sell residential battery, solar, and energy products, meeting sales KPIs consistently.
- Assist in battery sales process administration, including customer communications and account management tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Knowledge of solar energy principles and technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
